Help me support Youth Infusion's Youth Programs

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place by supporting Youth Infusion's Youth Programs. When I found out that youth throughout Northeast, PA, like many others around the world are struggling, it was clear to me that I need to do more to help support and counter act this reality.

The State Report for Pennsylvania shows that over a 12-month period, 16.7% of students had been threatened with violent behavior on school property, 23.2% of students indicated experiencing bullying, 31% reported being so sad that they stopped doing their usual activities almost every day for two weeks or more, and 18.6% seriously considered suicide, 14.7% planned suicide and 10.9% attempted suicide. The data reports for most of the nine counties in Youth Infusion’s service area demonstrate higher incidences of threatening behavior, bullying, depression and suicide than the state average. Students are disengaged for various reasons and I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Youth Infusion. Their campaign to reach, inspire and empower youth through service-learning and leadership opportunities has inspired me. Their Youth Leadership Advisory Board (YLAB) Program is giving youth the tools and resources that they need to bring about necessary change in their schools and communities. They providing youth with a purpose, a toolkit for the real world and a connection to their communities. By having them work together towards a common goal of planning a youth-led conference, they will feel sense of belonging, purpose and empowerment. —and you can be a part of it.
